​A comprehensive sensory assessment will enable me to provide a deeper understanding of your child's sensory processing and behaviour and the impact on their day to day life; and guide you through a range of tools and strategies to support them.

​​​​What's the process? 

​​​​

• You'll be sent some documentation to complete and send back prior to your assessment starting. This will allow me to know who your child, their strengths, their current challenges and developmental history.

​

• We'll organise a 60minute online meeting time
   

• We'll have an initial discussion about your current concerns, what's been working well and what's not working well so I have a full picture

​

• I'll then observe your child in their natural environment, where they are most likely to behave as normal. This enables me to use my years of clinical expertise to identify where I can give support. Interacting directly with your child during this process would be great! However, I understand that this can be a difficult situation for your child and if they do not want to interact or find it challenging do not worry, I can make my observations without needing to speak directly to them. You can submit videos if ahead of the assessment if appropriate.

• I'll then analyse the information and produce a comprehensive report which will help you understand the underlying challenges that your child is facing, as well as giving individualised strategies and a programme of activities, tailored perfectly to the needs of your child.

• We can then have a post-report discussion where you can ask any questions you may have, and I can provide additional suggestions to make the recommendations as easy as possible to implement, all while making things fun!
